Terms and Conditions
Mobilier offers a full 5 year guarantee against faulty workmanship and /or faulty materials including any SofaBed and recliner mechanisms commencing on the date the furniture was originally delivered to, or collected by the purchaser.
This guarantee does not extend to normal wear and tear, damage caused by abuse, misuse or negligence. Failure to comply with manufacturer's care and maintenance instructions may void your warranty.
The fabric has a 1 year guarantee commencing on the date the furniture was originally delivered to, or collected by the purchaser. This guarantee does not cover soiling, pilling, fading, wrinkling, creasing, improper cleaning and defects caused by misuse, alteration, accidents or application of fabric protection treatment.
In addition to the other exclusions stated on this page, Mobilier specifically excludes the from the guarantee;
- small manufacturing irregularities that do not effect the performance or appearance of the furniture,
- comfort issues relating to customers preferences.
During this 5 year period, if Mobilier is satisfied that material or workmanship is faulty, it will repair or replace the product at it’s option. However, the guarantee period will not be extended or changed as a result of repair or replacement under the terms of this guarantee or otherwise. Mobilier will cover transport costs arising from repair or replacement under the terms of this guarantee during the first 12 months of the guarantee period. After 12 months transportation costs are to be met by the purchaser.
Mobilier reserves the right to substitute material of equal quality on the particular items being repaired or replaced if identical material is not available at the time of repair or replacement.
This Guarantee applies in addition to all other rights and remedies in respect of the Foam which the Purchaser has under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand) and the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Australia) and similar laws. To the extent permitted by these laws, our liability for breach of a condition, warranty, or guarantee implied by such laws is limited to the replacement of the Foam. Where Foam is purchased for the purposes of a business by the Purchaser, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand) shall not apply.
